500k is a lot of money required for a start up esp when starting a shop. please be advised that i am not trying to discourage in any way but we just have to be real. Please understand that your idea cannot be patented and can easliy copied by a competitor and also their are no real asset . the only asset is yr knowledge. I will advice that you start the business with little or no debt. You still make pure profit from yr business without the need of a shop maybe from a room, shed or something.

sounds like you have done alright for yourself doing it on your current basis, then at some point something or someone has planted a seed and set your ambitions on fire, except this isnt an acorn that can turn into an oak tree overnight. Aim for just the next step not the top of the stairs. It's a long way down and quite bumpy if you fall.

Getting an investor at any amount is going to be difficult simply because you havent got a real grasp on your figures. Im guessing there is no business plan ready to email to an investor otherwise you wouldnt be guesssing if the amounts are profit or turnover.

Everything has been said already, so find yourself a business mentor if possible - someone else who runs their own business - then go to an advisor to review your BP and what the realistic outlook is for finding funding.

PS The is the best crystal ball you are going to find in business.
