Adding 'UK' to SERPs

Hi, apologies if this has been asked before or is in the freshbananas.co.uk course but I've had a search and no further forward.

If I search Google for 'my product' I can find my page (..eventually!) and if I search their shopping results I can find 'my product' on the first couple of pages.

However, when I search for 'my product UK' I can't find it on either - and with Google suggesting the UK be added to the search query how do add the 'UK' into my SEO efforts?

Many thanks, Iain

Do you think that many people will search for "your product UK" though as it's not something I ever add to a search query when looking for something.

As a matter of interest Google seems to think that you specialise in "Fascinators and hatinators" which are two words that I have never heard of.

Is this what you think people will search for or are they more likely to use a more common term as I can't be the only one who has never heard of these words - or can I :)

You need to add UK in your " Title of the Page "
for example
" Your Product UK "
No - don't do this

Go to your Google webmaster account and set the location to the UK

Or better still, change the domain to arranview.co.uk. And there are loads of things need fixing on the site - all of which would improve your UK ranking

Yes you are right the first thing he needs to do is to change his domain name to .co.uk and Google webmaster automatically then sets your location according to the domain extension.

Actually I misunderstood his question and I thought maybe there is some keyword in which UK is included so putting UK in title will definitely help as I have done SEO in few keywords where people are searching for "Product UK" so I optimized the page title and obviously the domain name is .co.uk and it worked , now the website is on the top of Google with that search term !!

BTW I do often put UK in my search queries, when I find the serps for my specific query dominated by US sites.

Also fasinator is a very specific thing and common and I would assume if a lady was going to Ascot or a wedding that is exactly what they would search for @Ian J - just because you don't wear one - and not surprisingly the top department stores dominate the serps for the term.
