accounting software for HMRC

Hello,

Question about accounting software. Is it true that I must buy it to submit HMRC Annual Account?

Every year I was submit CT600 pdf file without any problem, but now I can't do it because I have incomes in euro and HMRC require commercial accounting software.

I have small business, really small. Is it any other way how to submit Annual Account without buying software?

Please give me some advice. Thanks in advance!

You dont have to use commercial software most small companies can use HMRC's.

I disagree HMRC dont make any charge for this and you can use it in conjunction with free software such as VT cashbook.

Yes I realised that, but they can still use free software they'd have to convert the transactions to £'s.

Thanks everyone!

I tried some of software demo versions and realised that I have to convert EUR to GBP "manually" anyway.

I can't see difference if I convert EUR to GBP in HMRC free filing software or commercial software - result is the same.

Taxfiler for accounts and CT is another option
last but not least use Quick File for free and get one of many accountants to file your accounts and Ct return for very low price
