My 20yr old son is coming to the end of his 2nd yr at The University of Hull. Michael is doing well and in the 3rd yr (from July) is wanting to utilise his energy and enthusiasm for accountancy while learning from an accountancy business.

Michael will work for his bus fare. He'll do anything to learn and won't let anyone down. He just wants to learn and use his new found skill to help a business make money. His reward will be to learn from the experience.

Michael has an excellent CV and is willing to attend an interview quickly to show what he's about. His CV can be sent immediately electronically.

Does anyone know of an accountancy practice willing to help and get a good worker for virtually nothing, please?

Michael goes back to Hull this weekend and it would be brilliant if it was sorted out by then. Thank you.

I know a recent graduate from Durham University (non-relevant degree) who was recruited into a Big 4 firm last October. He did a 4 week 'internship' (Americanism!) in the summer of 2010. He applied to them directly in early-2010. I suggest that your son starts writing now to accountancy firms in his home city.
