Accountancy continuity agreement

Original Post:

Hi All,

I am looking to get ERA (Exempt Regulated Activities) status with ACCA and I am required to have a continuity agreement with another regulated accountancy firm that has that license (providing those services) with their professional body. Are there any accountants that have that status are happy to do this with my firm?

Thanks

Andreas

dont you have that anyway if you are a sole practitioner?
Yes I do but now I want to provide ERA services and be regulated for that under ACCA you need another accountant who is registered with another professional body for those services. Most accountants just have a practising license. ERA is sometimes know as investment business services
