Does anyone know anything about purchasing cards? We got a customer earlier asking if we accepted them. Personally I don't know what they are. We currently use sagepay to process orders.
The important thing would be to find out exactly what they mean/ what they are.
With one of our corporate clients we were given "purchasing cards" which were for buying things like stationary or software or printing etc -v- a "corporate card" which was for personal expenses such as train tickets or hotels etc. Whilst they were handled differently internally both cards were simply a Visa card and were accepted anywhere that Visa was.
Saying that, looking at http://www.streamline.com/downloads/pur_card_info.pdf there may be some additional elements over VAT reporting required for P.Cards - but mine was never turned down at anywhere I bought anything
