A rough buisness idea

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering what people think of this:

Where i'm from a lot of people drink the majority of their nightly alcohol at home before heading out to a pub or nightclub for entertainment, I was wondering if it would be possible to set up a buisness based around providing entertainment and a place to have a few beers or whatever before heading out to a proper pub or club. The idea as it stands involves it being a members only club in which members pay a yearly fee and then a small charge each week at the door (maybe £2 -£4)

I know i'd need security and hosting staff and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how much licences for something like this would cost?

The entertainment wouldnt be too heavy, maybe just a stereo set up or maybe sports when big games are on and then just things like decks or cards or silly drinking games.

All in all the idea is basically to provide people with an alternative place to drink and relax before heading out, away from their home

The whole point of having the drinks at home is for getting into the party atmosphere - us women trying on our outfits, doing each others hair/helping with make up - having a drink/fag/ dancing around with the stereo on - you take the home away it kind of ruins it!
