Armed with the latest internet data statistics, up to 80% of international traders have the experience to find the suppliers through E-commerce. In my opinion, e-commerce must turn to be one of the chief channels of the foreign trade.
In the present cases, most of the foreign trade companies showed doubt of E-commerce effectiveness. As those foreign companies and factories have errors on understanding and operation of E-commerce, which can be the mainly excuse to cause the doubt. Later on, the investment seemed no effectiveness by such immature understanding and simply operation, ever those companies and factories had been cheated by some speculators.
Many investors simply took e-commerce as a platform added with company website, once they finished the website they thought their e-road has begun. But, one year later, they angrily found there was no effective any more.
How should the company do? First, they should change their opinions of e-commerce--- it is not a simply electronic platform and a simply platform can not solve all the problems. The success depends on company capability, how to use platform, how to integrate platform resource, update the website timely, and do some SEO. All above are very important.
