50% off at pizza hut! Advertise with them.

We just started advertising our shop in the latest Pizza Hut delivery menus (one handed over with each delivered pizza) which is great becasue menus are lees likely to be binned and more likely to live in a kitchen drawer and get looked at more than once.

But the main incentive was the price and the fact we now get 50% off anything we collect from the local pizza hut! Oh and the advertising is working well too, paid for itself in the first couple of months I would think.

Nah I'm down in Royal Peterborough. We don't even feel the recession down here

I think Pizza Hut are owned as area franchises, so I guess whole areas can easily dissapear like that. Hard to imagine why Pizza Hut is struggling though - I keep hearing fast food chains can't build new premesis fast enough at the moment!

Out of interest what are you paying and for what?

Is it £x per 1000 menus or something else?

PS: I take it you paid cash or cheque did you? Companies like this take the p*** when they don't deliver what they say and when. If it was paid on CC I would call them to get them to get the money back
