Hi Tony
4Networking is an open, relaxed business network, you can wear anything you are comfortable in, you don't need to give referrals to members, and you can network at any other the 350(ish) groups across the UK and Australia for the price of your membership.
I have been in 4N for 2 years now and I have enjoyed every minute as you can network when you want, and do business with who you want, not who the organisers say.
The network isn't a quick, get rich scheme, it can take months before you start seeing an ROI as the whole ethos of the groups are "meet, like, know & trust". Once people know you, they will trust you and then do business with you.
The membership cost is around the same cost of other networking groups but you get so much more, including acceess to all their groups, rather than restricted to your local group and they have some great payment plans to help those who don't have capital.
For new members, you can get a "passport" for £200 + vat which gives you 200 days (around 6 months) access to the network to see if it works for you.
The MD, Brad Burton is based in Somerset and is a regular at the meetings, so if you can, catch him and have a chat as he really knows his stuff. I know of quite a few groups in your region including Taunton, Bridgewater, Exeter, Weston-super-mare and Yeovil. Going north there are numerous groups in Bristol, and Wales and even more heading east towards London.
I have to be honest and say, the network doesn't work for everyone, you need to go in with the right attitude and let the business come to you.
You can visit upto 3 meetings before you need to become a member so I do advise people to go along and try the format and see how it works for you.
If you let me know a phone number, I can get your area leader (who runs the local groups) to give you a call to explain the format and get you along to one.
As I said above, I have personally been in 4N for 2 years now and enjoying every minute, it took 6 months to get my first piece of work from the network but I am now getting regular work and referrals.
