3d Secure help

Hi All
We have recently signed up with Payzone and have a big issue with 3d secure. When we switch it on it only works for the following issuers:
Lloyds
Barclays
Bank of Scotland

All overs fail with a time out, the error the customers see is
"Your authentication could not be completed because of a system error. If this happens consistently, please contact your CSR."

The company for the 3D secure is Arcot.

We have a ticket logged with Payzone but I'm hoping someone has seen and solved this issue.

We've seen this before Jason on some WooCommerce and Magento implementations.

It was related to the form being used to submit the request to the server hosting the 3D secure page for the bank.

Some transactions succeeded, whereas some failed. Changing the form didn't cause those that were succeeding to fail but those that failed worked.

If you don't feel comfortable posting the forms code DM me the site and I'll take a look.

The multipart form type is the issue, which seems to not be supported by some 3D secure servers. The whole issue with 3D secure is that each organisation hosts their own implementation.

Some helpful information above from Dillon. Just to add that it is not isolated to the ecommerce platforms mentioned above. Plenty of discussion about it happening on various websites including National Lottery, British Airway, nPower and giffgaff to name just a few.

We've not had any reports of it from our merchants for our Payment Gateway.

We managed to fix it, it was a problem with the term url being sent. A : had been added after the domain name as if a port was going to be used.
