I have been talking to a guy about seo.

He told me he could get be 1000 one way links, with anchor text and description for £200. Instantly I googled it and found http://www.cyberlinkpro.com/index.html

charging about £12.

I assume this is what he would be using, or somehting similar.

Would it be a good or bad idea to use this to help with my seo?

Or are there better ways?

Also please would someone have a look at my site
www.simple-webdesign.co.uk and give me some seo tips.

Thanks

Woah

don't forget to do some keyword researcch first

Happy to advise you completelt free if that helps PM me your details and I will give you a call but I would require a testimonial once the work is complete.

That is right I did say I will do it FREE

Regards

Dave

Hello Eggman,

If you are assuming all links are equal then go ahead and pay the £12.

There are so many scams out there though where links can be from worthless spam sites (surely Google has the intelligence to pick these up and discount them or worse) or where a zillion blog posts are put up, etc, etc.

Common sense would tell me £12 will get me next to nothing.

Just my initial thoughts.

Yeh, I am using the guy who told me about the 1000 1 way links.

Obviously I am now looking else were.

I've been trying to think of a reply to this, but I really can't. If you watched an episode of Perry Mason would you try to pass yourself off as a lawyer?

Seriously though be careful, buying links and spammy SEO tactics like this can lead to client sites getting banned, so I hope you've got yourself some professional indemnity insurance.

Surely developers, designers etc... are getting this?

Mine is just up for renewal, even though I've never had to claim on it the past few years, it's there just in case things go pear shaped.

This is also why if services are being offered then it should be known the difference of what is right and wrong.

Of course I have insurance. Would be very silly not to.

But I probally wont need it (touch wood) because I always do my research, if I dont understand something.

Its better to sound stupid than be stupid.

Any way. Is there any valid link builders out there who would be interested in any future work?

I have to admit I too have become confused by this thread.

Are you looking for seo link-building companies to work with?
