Farm shop how much stock on first day

    Hi everyone I’m opening a delivery app that delivers local produce on demand, I’m just wondering how you’d go about getting stock, how much you would judge you’d need,without having any wastage? Has anyone started a perishable goods business before and if so how do they judge how much stock they need thanks jack

    Market research!

    But expect to run out of some lines and be overstocked on others. 12 months down the line and you will have a lot more data to be able to hold the correct stock levels.

    We use able and Cole and often get freebies when they are overstocked.

    But your market research (carried out over many months) it a good place to start.
