Well fisicx, it has taken a while, I've persevered and finally surrendered. GA4 just isn't up to the job, at least for what I'm using it for. So after trawling through the alternatives, your words rang out when I came across Clicky.
Setup in minutes, obvious, logical, cheap as chips, I'm...
Have been running a continual AdWords campaign since 2007. Great for trying things out and is instant marketing. But it has got needlessly more and more complicated and the "advisors" have got worse over the years as they became off-shored.
You can still manage your account yourself, just...
Think the BCC is most useful for startups, I found it useful initially for networking meetings and some sales training but didn't see any value moving forward.
FSB put me off as they used to (about 10 years ago) have high-pressure sales tactics and descended unannounced on my business a number...
If anyone has had any interaction with this website and they have tried to upsell you a business listing, can you fill in this form with Citizens Advice Consumer Service. Any related reports are then automatically fed back to Trading Standards.
The support page made me smile: "The PARISH.UK Service team can only provide service support to people who work for Parish Councils."
My money is still on a Derek in his bedroom, albeit with some good skills. I'll make some discreet enquiries.
Yup it's just a modern take on content scraping and a ropey biz directory. Generate lots of local dynamic content, grab loads of business info then try and flog it to business owners giving an air of local council credibility.
They've been scraping us for data, found out by accident as they...
Yep spot on! ;)
You can export all the raw data from CC, but can't import into AE which is as good as a chocolate teapot.
Big things I miss are the content hub and hashtags shortcuts. My workaround is a pinned text file in my taskbar with a list of common hashtags, and my mark1 content hub is...
Hi Humphreys. I used ContentCal from its early days and regularly fed back frustrations, suggestions or bugs, so I built a rapport with the team. Because I was grumpy about being left in the lurch after the Adobe takeover, one of the directors who has now moved over to Adobe phoned me and we had...
Hi Ozzy, as a recent re-visitor, liking the current forum direction, but admit the lack of images is a little frustrating. Sometime pics do paint a thousand words. I think an image can bring a post to life or add context, eg example post

First impressions are always invaluable and can't be recreated. So here is my 5 pence worth as a random web visitor landing for the first time.
Initially confusing, I didn't quite get the purpose, or why I was here. With no content in my area, you have the age-old problem of lack of content...
Thanks Fan the flames, it was a shame with socialpilot, it did seem to have promise, so did planable.
Unfortunately, using multiple platform tools is exactly what I want to avoid, but I do need multiple calendars with associated accounts, usual faceache, twit, insta and linkedin.
The adobe...
Bit of feedback in case anyone is interested or is having their own social media planning headache.
Tried Yasmeens suggestion of later, but it didn't have enough features for me. Tried Agorapulse, didn't like it. Social Pilot was very promising and nearly did the job, but the calendar felt very...
Thanks Yasmeen. Just been checking out "Later" and it looks like it could do the job. Very similar to contentcal and seems pretty intuitive. Am trying the 14 day biz growth trial, shall see how it goes.
For years I've been using a social media planning tool called ContentCal. I've watched it evolve and get better and better and saves so much time and does what says on the tin.
Then bloody Adobe bought them out, butchered it and dumbed it down into Adobe Express Schedule :( Unfortunately the...
I've been running an Adwords campaign inhouse continuously since 2003. Until around 2015, we would average around 30 - 40% conversion rates. Since then, it dropped down 25%, but so did our spend and we never manage to spend our daily budget due to Google's continuing tinkering.
As others say...
