Reckon it's a good idea to buy some Zoom.us, the video communications company, stocks? Seems an obvious one considering everyone is using it so much lately, but am I too late in the party?
Yes. They tick a box when they create an account on our website to say they have read the terms. Within the terms it says these can change, and you should read them everytime you use the website.
We are used to the big companies emailing us to let us know their terms and conditions have changed, but I guess this isn't a legal requirement else we'd all be getting no end of emails from all the websites we log into.
So is it fine to tweak your terms and that be fine when the user goes to...
Thanks. I have started this process now. For anyone all doing that, it's not too bad. Just go to 1and1 and click into the domain name, then renewals & transfers. Click transfer to a different provider (or something like that). You made need to switch off privacy setting for that domain which it...
Thanks for the helpful advice :-)
99% of the domains are just domains, with no hosting. I just purchased them, and never do anything with most of them. So I guess they default to 1and1's nameservers if at all.
So may forward onto my sites, eg if a domain is a similar name I have got, but you...
Thanks a lot. I was thinking of NamesCheap but will check Hover out? I will ask 1and1 about fees? Any other tips for moving? Wouldn't be surprised if they're some crafty tricks from 1and1, I guess they don't refund you for the time left on the domain? Eg if I move it 6 months after renewing it...
Had enough of 1and1 and want to move all my domains (about 100) away from them to another provider. I know I shouldn't have continued to purchase my domains through them, but the first one I purchased 15 years ago was with them and was easy and cheap to just purchase future ones on my same...
Just to update you on this. You can complete a SR01 form and pay £55 and have your full address reduced to the first part of your postcode only, eg LE7. You just need to look through the filling history (probably when you started the company) and find the file that has your address on it. They...
Thank you everyone, especially @arnydnxluk !
This is a great point
Mike, thanks again for the time you put into helping on this. Really useful stuff. I think we'll go for this plan...
Mainly documents to support small businesses.
Thanks again everyone
Thanks. That's kind of what I was thinking. I know Browerstack was quite clever in doing that.
How would the system know if you had accessed the account lets say in 3 areas? From the IP address?
Does anyone have any experience or have a guess at how websites that sell subscriptions stop you sharing your details with others that haven't paid? Eg The Times.
