What do businesses do with their long term cash reserves and profits?

Currently dropping a chunk of dosh into my SIPP pension (as an employer contribution) - this is a no-brainer if you're nearing retirement age. It reduces your corporation tax it increases your pension pot it reduces the amount of dosh you have sitting in your business (meaning any prospective...

do factor in that when Royal Mail loses are parcel, they only reimburse your cost price - Evri reimburse the transaction/sale value up to £20 (or higher if you choose to take out the extra insurance) I use Royal Mail 48 for fragile items (or items which exceed £20 in value) ...Evri postable for...

    Franking Machine?

My gut feeling is that the type of volume you mention won't be worth it for the cost savings. For the time savings, depending how/where you source your shipping addresses, this Click & Drop feature might avoid you having to manually key addresses in...

    Amazon Theft Issues

Not keen to do that, as I also supply them as a vendor (don't want them seeing the cost price of the product)

    Amazon Theft Issues

I send approximately 3 or 4 x 20kg cartons go to their FC each week, containing about 120pcs per carton - about 15~25 different SKUs) Today, since I had some spare time, I've just gone through six months worth of historic FBA shipments ...about 12 have discrepancies out of the 195 sent in...so...

A quick intro.. and automation tools?

My feeling is - for all you're getting the job done (well done), excel is not the right environment. Straight off the bat you can use Amazon's Seller API to automatically pull that Amazon inventory report into an MS Access table...then I would be knocking on those third party Apps doors to ask...

EU based retailers advertising ex-VAT online prices to UK consumers

It's not illegal...the overseas sellers are doing as they should, removing the VAT element for customers outside of their own country. Of course, there will be a VAT charge for the UK customer when it arrives ...that VAT will go to the UK treasury) ...but the end result is pretty much the same...

Selling my online store, what else can I do?

Genuinely wasn't meaning to be negative (unless you define it as querying in more detail about the stock)... but I'm pleased you sold it - I'm guessing whoever bought it got more info than we did (I sell about 150 products & have all this type info I mentioned per product line to hand - it's...

Selling my online store, what else can I do?

I always wince when I read such threads (as they seem to bring out the worst of the forum)....but in amongst all the vitriolic posts/forum rage is some good advice. my first question (if I was a potential buyer) would be to hone in on the stock you have on hand, questions such as these spring...
