    Win 2000 removal

Hi Dave, It really depends on where win 2000 is installed on your PC. Once you know where it is you can then take the appropriate steps to remove it. All the guys are right in one way or another but it just depends on what scenario you are in. When you say they are both on your C drive, can you...

    word to txt

Hi vshosting, You are maybe right in theory, but I dont think thats what Mathew is after (I may of course be wrong!!!)... If you rename a .doc to .txt and open in notepad for example, you will get pages of rubbish text... The antiword app will extract the body text of the document and store it...

b2b IT support - where would you look to find it?

Hi all, As the title says, as business owners where would you go looking if you needed IT support/consultancy/equipment? For example would you Google it, Yellow Pages/yell.com, local press (if so what please?), or do you have an existing relationship etc... I ask so I can get an idea of...

One for the SEO Overlords of Darkness

Also dont forget that an underscore is lost a bit in a url as the whole string is underlined, therefore in my opinion a hyphen stands out more... Cheers Baz

repost - old one missing? Site review?

Seamus, Thanks very much for the feedback! It is very much appreciated and I know how bored people are getting of the 'review my site' requests! I have had a couple of bits of independent feedback over the last day or so and the feeling seems to be positive but the site is not very 'sexy'...

    Viewing UKBF in Firefox

Big Firefox fan here, used it for ages. *But* I am having the same prob with 1.5.2 with these forums. Back to IE6 for these forums for now as I haven't had the chance to fix yet. IE7 is an awful rip of Firefox IHO and dreadfully slow in beta. Baz
