You've got more than enough suggestions here but are they just knackered by 4? Perhaps a round of caffeine closer to 4 would perk them up.
It sounds like you've already tried a lighter approach - it might be time to start going through the warnings process.
In terms of platforms, we've used a ton of them, free, paid, open source. We've just stopped using Trello in favour of Monday.com for project management.
Reconciliation and expenses are a pain in the ass! We've recently started using Pleo for our company cards - it allows more control of spending, and allows each person to be accountable for their own receipts (you take a picture of them and it links it to the purchase).
Now, if only we could...
Yes you can, but you must meet the requirements of a commercial kitchen which may not be possible with the space available to you.
I found a bit more info here
Genuinely appreciate the points of view so far and I've got some actionable changes to take on board.
The responses have suggested terminology is certainly an issue here - I'll review the wording of what I put out. Mike makes the point of typically expecting a developer to perform a platform...
Thanks for your reply fisicx. You may make a very good point regarding service descriptions - I'll review.
Re: your hosting company - many people do not have a managed hosting service. There are also tasks where I'd expect would be out of scope for your hosting company. One job I currently have...
I utilise subreddits made exclusively for posting services. Teaming up with similar providers is what I've been attempting to do by reaching out to web designers - I wouldn't want to touch local ground due to anything that can be remotely construed as anti-competitive with my 9-5.
I appreciate...
After reading through the 'Promoting my T-Shirt Business' thread and seeing valuable responses I was hoping to steal that approach and gain some ideas for own efforts :D
I'm trying to gain extra money at the moment by extending what I do at my 9-5 to also freelancing on evenings and weekends...
I think what you need to do is browse suitable warehouses and office rentals in your potential areas and get the costs. Same goes for staffing - search job sites to see what people you are looking for are typically being paid.
We recently moved offices and the price is 5 times higher than what...
Interestingly BT have been absolutely perfect for me in terms of service - that said, I use a third party router rather than the homehub.
My personal avoids are Virgin and Sky. Virgin seems to go down all the time and Sky are useless in almost every way.
Server is a bit cheap IMO. What work will go into that on a monthly basis and what do you value your time at?
For £50 a month you'll presumably be monitoring, patching, deploying new packages, maintaining AD/mail, fixing when it goes wrong and everything in between.
I'd perhaps look to go in...
Not a problem, happy to help!
Another small tip is to use Authy rather than Google Authenticator. Authy supports all the 2FA codes that Google Authenticator does, but with Authy you can back up your codes or install Authy to another phone. Unfortunately you cannot easily move Google...
No more than an hour but potentially less? ;)
Okay, count me in - I know it can be a pain to get interview participants! Do you want to PM me the information?
How long does the interview take? I wouldn't be comfortable telling you name of any company whilst discussing discussing cyber, would that be an issue?
I work at an IT firm and have insight into the cyber efforts (sometimes lack thereof) of various sized companies - would that be of use?
