Agreed about the coffee workers:)
You're quite right nothing jumps out when I search for commercial cleaning vacancies. Mostly I think it's contract work, companies submit their tender, commercial cleaning companies bid for the contracts.
But there's nothing there advertising "just cleaning...
There are vacancy sites set up for electricians, plumbers, what other roles do you mean? if you've found a job sector that hasn't got dedicated websites advertising jobs then count me in!
All parts are crucial, we all rely on hundreds of others just to get through the day. If my heating breaks...
Showing good signs.. had a glut of enquiries in the 2 weeks before Christmas, now just got to do the work. Even switched my Adwords campaign off for a while..
There are sites just for specific trades / industries / sectors etc. I'm a member of CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and they've an area of vacancies, all marketing - nothing else.
Try showing them the websites of their competition. Part of your remit is to educate and guide them, as a designer you should be able to justify all your decisions.

Have a look at prestashop, all the functionality is there, and if you choose a close enough template to what you want then there's a lot that can be done with customising it using html, css and possibly a little php if needed.
I've had some clients with pretty large product catalogues but i'm not sure what your "generate/publish" step is about. Most e-commerce solutions ""generate" pages on the fly as they are requested by visitors. Do you know what e-commerce solution your developer is using for you?
We set up...
