@Scalloway It depends. Some people want them raw so their partners/kids can paint them & others want them treated.
@Mr D He's not going to be mass producing these items and eventually wants to get to the point where people will pay more money for a quality handcrafted model.
It does seem...
Mr D, I meant small shipments by way of not shipping one item to wherever they get ordered & instead shipping at least 10 models at a time since they are handmade & producing by the thousand is not a viable option [then keeping them here until they get sold].
I was look at restrictions on types...
I have a mate in South Africa that makes handcrafted wooden car models, and some other interesting odds and ends.
To give you an idea what we are talking about have a look here.
He has mainly restricted his sales to South Africa because of prohibitive transports costs to ship these models...
It's not that stupid. Quantum computers will obliterate any levels of cryptography generated on existing PC architecture, and will provide true crypotography that is unhackable once it becomes widespread. Quantum computers already exist, they're just not publicly available, and still under...
I think the allure is in the low international banking charges? Try a couple of small transfers anywhere & see how your bank knocks you with their fees.
Not an account you would use for day-to-day UK business banking.
Well, one consolation is that if you are booked off, you still accrue holiday even while off sick, so if you decide to leave, don't forget to claim this from your miser of a boss.
Besides all the digs about the front-end visually, it seems your site is fast-loading, better secured than most, and rather unique-looking.
One issue I see in mobile-view is the "in-stock" notice covering to much of your product image when viewing items individually.
Far be it from me to tell...
I am not sure if anyone can ever build an ecommerce website on a budget, because there are quite a few security issues to take care of, and now with the EU GDPR laws there is added complexity to running any website within the EU.
How many products do you intend to sell initially, because it...
Personally I think it's better to add all the money you intend spend to the business for the purchase of assets at the beginning.
Say you add £15K, it's one transaction which goes to Director's Loan Account. All the purchases are then made by the business, and you will probably find it cheaper...
You can get the official links here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/hmrc-exchange-rates-for-2018-monthly
You use those rates in your books, and any difference (between the rate you received & the official rate) goes into the Exchange Rate Variance account.
Instead of closing it down completely (because you may find it advantageous to use it at a later date), contact HMRC & inform them that your company is dormant.
You can contact them over the phone & they will mark it as dormant for a few years.
If you decide to use it at a later date, you need...
I agree - WordPress is only bloatware if you install loads of plugins.
Lose the plugins & have a developer write the functionality you need into your theme.
People wrongly associate WordPress with being slow & cumbersome, but it can be a lean machine if you know what you are doing.
At the moment there doesn't seem to be any solid way of reporting on any of these issues, anyway, I have looked.
I think the enforcers will catch up with the legislation at some point, and companies/people will twig that they can eliminate some of their competition by reporting on non-compliant...
Hi, @jazperson - yeah, I've also moved away from the online gaming thing beyond a few games of Dota 2 once in a while when I need some downtime.
Unfortunately, to be any good at WOW you need to grind endlessly & I find that I would rather spend that time getting my business running the way I...
