Yep - differentiating your offering (better return policy, security of buying from UK, faster postage) etc is one useful way forward here. Or different products selection; see sig although really aimed at Amazon sellers for now
Do you mean that Amazon itself is the only competitor on the listing? FBA and merch fulfilled only as competition is a sweet spot, esp if you're using FBA.
Hi OP; the Pro Merchant is vital IMHO - you cant win the Buy Box without it which delivers over 90% of the sales for the listing.
In our testing period we sold over 2000 products; would have been a fraction of that without owning the BB

Stripe combined with an analytics package such as baremetrics is just great. Most importantly, its easy to use and gives all the info you need on a dashboard. Its also very reliable and customers seem to like it.
Maybe worth considering Amazon's FBA service - they handle most of the customer service quesries for you, and post the products etc. Much lighter touch.
