eBay business no profits once vat registered

Yep - differentiating your offering (better return policy, security of buying from UK, faster postage) etc is one useful way forward here. Or different products selection; see sig although really aimed at Amazon sellers for now

Amazon - Startup and Free Postage

Do you mean that Amazon itself is the only competitor on the listing? FBA and merch fulfilled only as competition is a sweet spot, esp if you're using FBA.

Amazon - Startup and Free Postage

Hi OP; the Pro Merchant is vital IMHO - you cant win the Buy Box without it which delivers over 90% of the sales for the listing. In our testing period we sold over 2000 products; would have been a fraction of that without owning the BB btw....no I don't work for Amazon;-)

    Any reviews of Stripe

Stripe combined with an analytics package such as baremetrics is just great. Most importantly, its easy to use and gives all the info you need on a dashboard. Its also very reliable and customers seem to like it.

How does Amazon sell third party products in 1 basket?

If all the products are FBA then they're all shipped from the amazon warehouses, regardless of who sells them; its amazon that fulfils.

    Fulfiment companies - need recommendations

Check out the tamebay site - they have a good section under 'resources' IIRC. Good fulfilment companies can indeed be hard to find!

    Finally Leaving eBay

Maybe worth considering Amazon's FBA service - they handle most of the customer service quesries for you, and post the products etc. Much lighter touch.
