They ship a container load here and then sell them off, I have bought some from them and they came in 3 days from local UK courier.

Lets say I sell goods in value of £10000 per month and I have returns of £100.
When I do my VAT return should I account for £10000 or £9900.

I do not think location is important, at least not for me.
I am sole trader importing goods from China and selling them on ebay. I hit my VAT threshold in around march 2014 and that is when my VAT registration started, I made my first VAT payment in July, I not sure if it matters for 13/14...
