My spit roast hire/sales business had a poor summer due to the bad summer, I am hoping trade will pick up if halloween and bonfire night weather is favorable.
Do others traders have yearly highs and lows ?
For the Hire side of my business I had some colour postcards done (Vista print) and handed these out to local butchers etc. Also gave some to a colleague who hire bouncy castles.
For the Sales side, I include my hyper link on several associated forums.

I think corporate events would expect a "package" complete catering etc etc.
The simple "£45 for a weekend hire" more for large private parties.

Thanks for the welcomes and the advice, I am still employed full time, so this enterprise is "weekend" working.
I have had some postcards printed and will "do the rounds" of the local butchers.
