    Hours Owing

Just checking I understand this correctly. Is this issue he's had more paid holiday over many years but not worked the full hrs to accrue it? So, a FT worker at that company works 37.5hr a week & was entitled to 30 days a year inc BH. Are you saying he has been allowed 30 days paid holiday...

Employer Pension contribution on SMP post redundancy

What do the pension scheme rules say? Is their a maternity policy that outlines what happens in this situation or similar? Our policy is outlined. SMP is pensionable. The 3 day rule may be ignored at the companies discretion for a pre planned operation with evidence. Sick pay doesn't count...

    Holiday pay calculation for redundancy

What was the reasoning for topping up? When the furlough was confirmed was this in writing? If it wasn't made clear in discussions with the worker at the time of furloughing I don't see how you can now claim it was a holiday day and not ordinary furlough. I'd certainly argue to be paid the BH...

    Holiday pay calculation for redundancy

If the BH were not paid at full pay during the furlough period then they would need to be paid in the remaining holiday pay.
