Thank you both for your replies.
The only movement of funds in the company since the 31st March 2016 are: monthly phone line rental, domain name renewal, annual return fee, accountancy fee and bank fees. Hopefully these are not classed as trading activities.
Thanks Scalloway. I will indeed...
Hi all,
Due to time constraints I'm looking at closing down a Ltd company I had set up a few years ago. I had purchased some equipment (printer, land line phone) and raw materials in the start-up stages using my own money, which were credited to a directors loan account.
I had only used the...
I thought I was going crazy when I checked the yotpo site...I had signed up to the free plan around a year ago, with the intention of upgrading to the £20? tier when needed. I see this is now replaced with a £265 plan!
Haven't found any as of yet. I'm in the process of launching my own site using Paypal express and stripe. If it is truly fee-free I'll be looking to make the switch. I found the following on an old Brainptree post:
Do you have Paypal express and Paypal through Braintree active? If so I'd guess more first time customers would prefer Paypal Express rather than going through checkout.

I think most UK users were on the standard 2.4% + £0.20/€0.24/$0.30 per transaction + VAT unless you were processing over £20K.
I cannot see anywhere in my account which shows the actual rate, only what fee is charged on the transaction. A quick bit of calculator work should show the breakdown...
I can't yet post links, but the woocommerce documentation covers most queries. Google: coupon management woocommerce. I think there's also a few youtube videos covering the same topic but those may be a little outdated.
Hello all,
I've almost completed my first online store using woocommerce. I thought I'd give WC a go as I'm a long time Wordpress user, I'm proficient in php/css/html and only have a small range of products to sell. I've decided to use Stripe and Paypal Express as my payment methods until an...
As above really. From a developers point it's simple enough to implement, although I haven't 'gone live' with it yet. Unfortunately I'll also be offering paypal at a slightly higher cost to myself.
What would happen if you purchased a registered and directors address, and a customer/supplier were to send post such as an invoice to that address? I don't think I'd require a mailing address, as MonkeyTer stated, I could just give out my home address if a customer wanted to return an item.
Thanks for the reply StevensOnln1.
I'm currently based in Buckinghamshire. I have contacted my local enterprise centre and they offer a virtual office service. £249 for a registered office and mailing service. Looks quite expensive to me.
Looking at the big picture it may just be better for me...
