Does this still work? I can't find any recent articles about it, the latest was from 2007 although I didn't spend much time researching... Interesting, from everything I have ever read and tried on test sites the most that has happened is the links were ignored.
False info, the worse that could happen is SEs ignore your new links and you see no improvement. If this was true why dont we all just xrumer our competition, give them 100,000s of links everyday and enjoy watching their rankings decrease.
Tom, can you define what you think SEO is? SEO to me and many of us isn't just about SERPs. It's about working out how best to sell the product the client is offering with the right keywords, the right design and many other things.

Pretty much yes, that is how it works. They will be making less per sale but they don't have to worry about the logistics of ordering new stock, delivery, returns etc. They just order from you when someone purchases and give you the delivery address.
