There are endless pro's to having a virtual office and the only con's I've ever heard of are the occasional receptionist handling the odd call badly.
As several global brands and household companies use virtual offices worldwide there is no harm sharing an office address with the corporate...
We used a serviced office broker to find our London office space. As Anya said the price varies dramatically depending on the location and the building.
We were told the same as you though - as a ball park figure £2k for a 4-5 person office in the West End which is between £400-£500 per person...
As popunder said I would just call an office space agency & ask them.
i used Complete Office Search to find our office. they offer a free serviced office search service.
good luck
Alison :)
Forgot to mention - try http://www.CompleteOfficeSearch.com if you need office space - there seems to be lots of different agents but I would recommend these guys :D
Hiya,
One of my friends in using Avanta in Harrow and loves it.
Where do you need to hold meetings? Sometimes hotels, pubs & conference centres work out cheaper if there are alot of you but if its only for small meeting every once in a while then a virtual office is probably a good idea.
Working from an office has actually helped us pick up new clients. Everytime I go into the shared kitchen for a tea/coffee I end up having a chat and networking with the other tenants and some of the other tenants have even referred me business which I would of never got by working from home...
Hiya,
I've got several friends and collegues who all rent serviced offices and they love them. Saying that they are all with operators who don't have any hidden charges.
My brother in law used Regus and was happy but that could be because he got a great deal and never used any of the...
My brother inlaw had a 2 desk office with Regus in Oxford Street London and he was only paying £600 a month so I don't see why an office in Aberdeen should cost more than London. I sure it should be either the same price or cheaper - unless the building is the best address and building in Aberdeen.
I was told Easy Offices an agency owned by Regus so you'd probably be better off trying an independent office agent or just stick to Gumtree, the local paper etc.
There is definitely a gap in the market for cheap flexible office space.
If you look at hotels you get 5*,4* 3* etc and then the likes of travel lodge/premier inn popped up and have done well - budget hotels & budget airlines will always do well as not everyone can afford the top of the range...
A business associate of my is renting some temporary office space in Fort Dunlop. She found the space in the city centre itself was a lot more expensive - give Fort Dunlop a try.
I personally think a virtual office is the way forward.
Pro's -
Great address
Professional Image
Access to the office & meeting rooms if/when you ever need to meet a client
Cost effective
In terms of other companies having the same address it really isn't an issue - for example how many...
Regus are good - but as I've said on another forum a friend of mine got stung with all the cost of all the hidden extras. Make sure you know exactly what everything costs and the reoccurring charges otherwise using the meeting rooms frequently soon adds up not to mention the other costs.
I...
