Evening all, its been a long time since I have been on here. Closed my old business a few years back and settled into an employed position. Getting itchy feet now... I am thinking of releasing some cash I have tied up and starting my way down the property route. Plan is to buy at auction...

    Auto Enrolment pension options

May not be the right forum but I was wondering if this was possible... My partner has, like may others a work place pension along with a personal pension. Now while looking at her statement a little while ago it just didn't feel right, and has bugged me for a while now. So I gave it a closer...

    Swearing

Thanks for the input. My reason for asking was mainly down to my partners little sideline business, she sells pet products and has been given the opportunity to get printed poo bags for not much more than standard ones. My idea was to sell or even give away with certain products "sh!t bags"...

    Swearing

Quick question I'm after a little advice regarding legalities here. If I was to release a product from. my company ltd and called said product "shit hot" (its an iron for arguments sake) could I get in trouble? I feel its appropriate for the product I'm thinking of, sorry I can't give much away...

    Company director after personal bankruptcy

Nothing stopping you from what I know?! You may struggle to gain a bank account if you are a director but I can't see why you can't be a shareholder. After 6 years and your credit file is clear you should be alright though. Other option if you need to make card purchases would be to have your...

Am I mad to go for it again?

Thanks for the input, I know what you mean, it didn't fail and I probably could have traded through but that's knowing what I know now! I think I'm going to get everything set up, sub out what I get in and once it'll justify my resignation, jump! Its going to be some long days ahead but hey, you...

Am I mad to go for it again?

Right a short intro to what I used to do... From leaving school I worked in contract interior decorating, eventually having my own business that was essentially a one man band that I pulled in sub contractors for the bigger jobs and when work load required the extra labour. All was good until...

Does anybody know how I can open a business bank account with poor credit rating/score?

Cardonebanking looks very expensive when you look into them, they charge for everything! Cashplus is supposed to be OK but as has already been said try nationwide for a basic account.

    What could possibly go wrong?!

Your quite right, that must be a subconscious link in the back of my mind as I would be thinking fraud in the OP's position.

    What could possibly go wrong?!

Sounds like something Nick Leeson would say in the film Taken!

    Air fresheners for advertising

At 35p that's 1% of the profit for each successful service so it is a viable option. Think I need to give it a punt, it's an uknown until I try... So I would need 10 sales out of the 1000 air fresheners to break even. I don't know that's 10 hours work to recover the investment, but hopefully...

    Air fresheners for advertising

I have a small business that's purely seasonal where I offer a mobile air-conditioning re-gassing for cars. Well I have had an idea this weekend while having my car washed at the local hand car wash... It is based on the fact that they always give away a free air freshener with every wash. So...
