After weeks of bickering, some great (and some not so great) business decisions, there are four candidates left in the job interview from hell. Tonight, Lee McQueen, Alex Wotherspoon, Claire Young and Helene Speight will compete to become Sir Alan Sugar's apprentice. But who do you think will come out victorious? Vote in the poll above and post the reasons for your choice below.

Yeah, it's come very close to jumping the shark this year and bits of it seemed suspiciously like they were scripted. But it's still my favourite 'reality show' by far.

I want Claire to win, 'cos she's the best of a bad lot - The winner is often surprising though, like Michelle Dewberry beating the Badger, and that lad from last year who noone remembers!

I think Claire has perhaps been on the biggest journey, as she is learning to keep her mouth shut a bit more. I like Lee, but possibly to have a drink with more as he seems a laugh. Helene I think will be too set in her ways for Sir Alan. Alex, therefore, may sneek in as he could be moulded more.

But Claire is my fave.

You need to add another option to the poll...no one gets the job.

If Alan Sugar were to follow his original instincts, he would sack the lot of them. Not one single one of them could stack up against the first set of winners, never mind the runners up:D

However, for what it's worth, my vote goes to Claire. Alex is a possibility as he is young and has lots to learn.

I think Alex will win. I like Sir Alans tactics, he has managed to put Alex in one team and Claire in the other and these are surely his favourites. So which ever team wins he will be getting a decent apprentice and I believe will choose either of these two. But also by having this 4 person final he will be upping the viewing figures as well!

Alex is a snake, Helene is aggressive and negative (I've met people from tougher back-grounds who have a great attitude), so it's between Lee and Claire. Lee is more likeable and genuine. Claire is annoying and would do my head in to work with - but she is the only one who has been totally focused all the way through - goal and target-orientated. But I think Lee deserves to win because he's a good guy, who's worked his way up the hard way and would gain the most, learn a lot of new skills and grow.

tbh i havent watched it all as most of it seemed like drivel... however... i think lee may well win.... dunno why lol

and i really hope either the beeb pull it off the air... or do a grass roots version get normal people on it, like the man off the road type thing, that would be more intresting!

My money is on Claire. She's the only one I find likeable, and the only one I think is actually up to the job.

The best of a very poor bunch that remain. I'm unconvinced that any of the four can do anything much apart from a basic salespersons job; Suralan can hire a salesman without going through this palaver. That's why I was disappointed when Raef and Lucinda got the chop. They had management and leadership skills IMHO that set them apart from the rest who barely seem capable of managing themselves out of a paper bag.

Some of this year's contenders have been absolutely dire. Picked for comedic potential? No-one can conceivably have thought that Kevin or Michael or Jennifer had any ability whatsoever, to name but three of the losers.

My 9 year old daughter is desperate to get on it. It is her favourite programme and she spends her spare time devising advertising and sales campaigns for various products and so forth.

I have to say though she has a much greater basic knowledge of how business works than the candidates on the show!

Alex is the best one left, I think.
I don't want to repeat gossip read on internet forums  but I read that Claire has applied to be on Big Brother, four times before trying for the Apprentice.
If it's true ( please let me know) her motives and possible future as a serious business woman would be in doubt. But maybe i'm naive, they all want to be famous don't they?, even Sir Alan needs just a little bit more recognition and applause because just being a top businessman isn't enough for him anymore. Reflection of our society? :(

Michelle has left Alan sugars company though now

I can't believe working for Alan Sugar is anyone's dream job. I finally gave in and watched the final (mainly cos the wife insisted on watching it havign seen all the hype on the bbc in the past 7 days) having thankfully missed the whole series.

I still think it's total garbage and it pains me to think my licence fee has to fund another whopping bung to 'Sir' Alan next year for another series of 'losers lick ass'

Bring back Gerry Robinson and get some real business talent, He would show them who's boss ;)

Did anyone read the newspapers a few weeks ago where an insider said that the winner went to work and after a few weeks vanished. Now I thought until then that the final was only pre-recorded a couple of days before but what I have been told is, it was pre-recorded some time ago. Would like to know if anyone else read that article

I'm just glad that smug-faced Claire didn't win it. She had that look like you wanted to slap her all through the series. I don't doubt her business skills, but what an annoying person she is! I can see why Sir A said he couldn't work with her. I'm happy for Lee, out of all of them I think he deserved it the most, but I agree he may be out of his depth somewhat. OK, I know it's more than likely rigged, but, hey, it's a bit of light entertainment. Now we also have Big Brother to watch....any comments on that?!

I was appalled that Lee didn't even say thank you.

Sara, I hate the way he says "That's what I'm talking about!" - he's not Lightning McQueen from the movie cars, I hated his "reverse pterodactyl" and his general way of doing things - he gives me the "creeps".
