    shame the owner undervalues them
I'm far from undervaluing UKBF, I've spent £1.6M on UKBF and it's associated assets over the past two years. A chat forum is only a tiny fraction of that investment and the forums is not why I purchased UKBF back from the company I originally sold them to in 2007.
I'm not sure why but you seem to be jumping to incorrect assumptions. I've frequently posted on here that I'm changing this site to modernise UKBF for a new generation, and you seem to associate that with I must be deleting the forums. Wait and see what's coming, you may like it or you may not, I appreciate I will not be able to please everyone and it would be pointless of me to try to.

I never said you undervalued UKBF.

    I quoted 'your own words'

    "
    Ozzy said:
As has already been shared in the past, the forums are not what I bought this site back for. They don’t form an important part of the direction of the site, and they are being changed away from the soap boxing and chitter chatter."

wherein the sentiment expressed (as I took it) was that you devalued the FORUM part of UKBF (and as such the members). Thus no assumption jumping? No mention of you closing anything from me?

If this is not the sentiment you wished to express then I apologize if I misunderstood.

I'll pay less attention in the future. I prefer words to mean what they say.
Absolutely I agree, it's very important to read those words in the whole context and not take or quote them out of context. I'm pleased to see you've edited your post in that regard, thank you.

you missed the part where I said I'd pay 'less' attention. Words have a way of losing their value ...
