Holiday entitlement calculator

We employ a range of full time / part time staff here and keeping on top of holiday entitlement is getting trickier as we grow,
Does anyone use any software / websites to calculate holidays ?
Ideally something that staff can book or request their holidays on would be a good idea too.
Cheers.

How many staff, what mix of PAYE/temp/contract/CIS/part time/ full time ?

For a small number of "normal" employees a shared excel spreadsheet works fine, the calculations are simple.

When it gets more complicated is when either not all have the same holiday entitlement or you have contracts which gives days leave + bank holidays AND part time staff who usually work Mondays

yes we're literally in that situation at the moment.
We're using Excel but we've got a mix of legacy and newer contracts in place with differing holiday calculations

Some payroll software can do this. Otherwise, perhaps Breathe HR?

Short term this may help to calculate differing entitlements - agencies have to deal with multiple scenarios and accrual rates (as soon as a temp hits 12 weeks they need to have same rate as a perm person at that company doing the same job)
