Been away from this forum for a while. Started a new business, grown successfully and now looking to expand even further.

Set up a driving school 3 years ago and have grown to now have 14 instructors teaching Both learners and commercial (Busses, Lorries, trailers)

We would like to add the option to book and pay for lessons online. What is the best payment provider to use for this. We need to look at the costs of transactions so that we can pass the cost onto the driving instructors and they know exactly how much they will receive for the booking.

We are currently redesigning the website and want to look at these upgrades to relaunch a new website.

Any advice gratefully received.

PS Reading through a lot of the threads its good to be back on here. Should have come back sooner.

First thought. who is the customer making a booking with? Is it you / your organisation or is it with the instructor?

Do customers pay at the same time that they book? Who do they make the payment to?

At the moment a lot pay on booking via bank transfer others pay per lesson in cash.

I want to change that so they pay online when booking. Payments will come thru to us at the office and we then distribute it to the appropriate instructor. This is what we do with bank transfers at the moment but some people query about paying via bank transfer and I am looking to automate the system

Hi, I consider you talking about his website. I found the site is done in using HTML and PHP. I understand your idea to make the user pay online and when booking. It can be done by using some programmers like me. At the first stage, you need to find payment gateway provider (IMPORTANT: check with the services charge for each transaction ) then confirm it. Most of the site using PayPal but you can also check with other payment gateway providers. Once every payment it will be transferred to you. You can verify with your Transaction ID.

Test it will before moving Live.

Cheers,
K
