You cannot try the link building or on-site seo so thats a lot of the value not being made available for free. However £5 a month isn't much so I'd be tempted to give them a whirl with a new website.
There was a live report on there that showed links going up over the space of a week from 20,000 to 29,000 that is a scary thought. so if they are building links at that rate you can be certain they are low value and automated.
£10 a month will buy you a couple of hours of time for an Indian outsourcer, to put things in perspective. Their reports might be Ok if they actually deliver specifics rather than just stats. who knows![]()
Ever heard the story of the giant ship engine that failed? The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He nspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.in my last job they used a company called [.rocketfishltd they charged over £3000 and still excepted us to do all the work like blogs, u tube videos, links e.t.c massive rip off company

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He nspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.
Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed! A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.
"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"
So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."
The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with a hammer ......................... £ 2.00
Knowing where to tap ............................ £ 9,998.00
Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life makes all the difference.
How can anyone guarantee results for a fixed budget? They cant is my view....

yeah I would agree with most of what Peter says her, but from what I can see from my work links from good relevant sites are still considered an important metric. As a rule, I would steer clear of Indian outsourcing companies (sorry to all Indian outsourcing companies out there)!
I've dealt with them on a number of occasions in the past and none of the outsourcers I have used have produced the desired results. All claim to be white hat link builders but they still use link sourcing tools, which return websites that have little to do with the essence of website you are building links for. For example, I had a health and safety software client and used an outsourcer to build inbound links for their website. All but 3 out of 100 links they built in one month were for health and well being websites because they all contained the word "health". This wasn't good enough so I don't use them anymore. I'm sure there are also UK/European link builders that do the same. They message here is to make sure any links you build are themed and contextual.
Don't just think of link building as a way to the build authority of your website. Think of it as a way of building new channels that will refer potential, prospective clients. Things like page rank and page authority are going to be less relevant over time. Google rewards the latest fresh, new content. This kind of content often comes with a low authority in the Page Rank sense due to its very nature. It's brand new. Page Rank is something that comes with time but if it isn't going to be a ranking factor in future, then why bother with building hundreds of irrelevant back links? In my opinion links and page authority aren't ranking factors now because I've worked on client websites that have few links and better positions in the search engine results due to the present day work I'm doing.
