How to completely remove a company/director

Hello,

I'm german and founded a private limited 2 years ago with a company name and my name as director.

The problem I have now is, that my name is being displayed on several websites in connection with my limited company without me giving permission to these websites.

Is there any way to remove my company and name from these websites?

1) I was thinking about Strike Off & Dissolution, would the company then be completely removed of Companies House? Or will it still be listed there under 'Dissolved'.

2) If I assign my Directors position to someone else, is it still possible to see who the past directors were?

3) If I change the company name, would all these websites delete the old company name or still keep it?

Websites that list my personal name without permission are:
bizzy.co.uk
companycheck.co.uk & company-director-check.co.uk
creditgate.com
levelbusiness.com

Any help would be appreciated, also if you have different suggestions, please let me know.

suggestion 1 would achieve what you require.

Assuming the business has no ebt it will take 3 months to strike off and will then cease to exist.

As a past director your name will remain line with the company; if you change the name many searches will still bring it up as a past name.

I shouls point out that director etails are public omain information and the sites in question have every right to display it.

Thank your for your informative reply.

I understand that this is public information and those websites are sharing this information legimitately, but when I founded the company I wasn't aware of it (I knew about companies house which doesn't show director names directly and isn't registered in search engines, but not about the sites getting this information and making them visible through search engines).

You recommended me to strike off the business. I just checked Companies House online and it shows many companies with action/event: "Dissolved". However, they are still visible there and you can check for their directors as well. If I strike off my company correctly, will it still be shown there or will it disappear from the list?

    .

Disagree. The company will stay on the search at Companies House as recently dissolved - I'm not sure how long, but one we looked at last week was dissolved three years ago.

None of the other suggestions will work immediately either. The information is in the public domain and freely available.

If you change the company name it can still be traced from the number. As to whether the sites mentioned will remove the old name, that's very much up to them but I suspect that they will index both names for a time.

I don't know of anyway to completely remove your name from Companies House. Even if you resign as a director, your name remains as an ex-director.

As to these other sites, they often only list the current directors and don't deal with resigned directors though I haven't examined the specific sites you've mentioned. Similarly, these sites may remove dissolved companies (but as David says, Companies House will not).

What exactly is your concern with your name being displayed there? If it's your address, it is now possible to have a different 'service address' that is not your residential address.

    So many different replies...

Did anyone here struck off or dissolve a Ltd recently? If yes, is it still shown on the companies house search now or did it already disappear completely?

My concern is that those websites that are using my personal name, birth date and company information are all being indexed by google. Some of them also rank pretty high already, ranking them over important other sites (I'm an artist).
Additionally, I'm doing different activities in my life and my company name is not appropriate for all of them.

I want my company and my director state to be completely removed from the Companies House, then I'm able to contact those websites and ask them to remove my information due to not being accurate/existant anymore.
