Nope, because we don't know who you are - it's your first post - and there may be much better ideas in the running.

Provide a link where I can see all the ideas to be voted on and I'll make up my own mind. You never know your may be the best anyway.

Don't know who appointed you as the forum spokesman?? Please don't speak for me again.

The clue's in the word 'community' :) You need to put in at least as much as you take out (preferably more!)

I'd recommend your next step would be to go to the 'introductions' forum and introduce yourself, then wander through the rest of the forums and join in a few conversations. Keep it non-spammy (i.e. don't keep trying to promote yourself at every opportunity) and be as helpful and friendly as possible.

It's also worth paying the £40 annual fee to become a full member, because then you'll be able to add links in your signature (for example, one to your website and another to your competition entry or this thread, with a 'vote for me' plea).

If you have any difficulties using the forum or want the advice of an administrator/moderator, post in the 'feedback' forum.

That should be enough to get you up and running :) Welcome to UKBF Matthew, and I hope you'll find it as useful as we all do :)

Sorry OP, I went for the Kibosh - seems a great idea that I could have done with a time or two in the past.

Good luck though.

Hi! I dont mean to sound cheeky, Im getting a better understanding of how to use forums like this now. I am in the North West final so only against 2 others. I hope my idea is something that might come useful to you in the future, I have only just finished university and this is my first business and I am very lucky to have reached the final because there was over 1900 applications. Best regards, Matthew

Another tip - update your profile (click the 'my UKBF link, top left of the page) to include your website URL. Then, whenever you post here, people can click your username and there will be an option to visit your website :) This is a free feature so you don't need a paid subscription to do it (but I'd still recommend paying the £40 anyway, for the sig links and other benefits ;))

No, well done it's a great achievement and no doubt an invaluable learning tool as well. If the Kibosh hadn't been there you would have got my vote as some of the others seemed, well, just plain daft!

Let us (sorry, Me) know how you get on.

Where have I seen the Salad|Bowl name before? Have you been putting your name about (in a good way) anywhere else I might have seen it?

And congrats on getting to the final mate, I think it's a cracking little idea.

We've been promoting heavily for the past 2 weeks and now only have a week to go! If you live in the North West theres a good chance you may have heard us on the radio or seen us in one of the local papers. Also we have been around liverpool a lot recenlty handing out flyers! Thanks for your comments!
