Meet the Apprentice Candidates

I do enjoy the apprentice but only bearing in mind that is bares little in common with the real business world, they aren't actually very smart business people... just those they thought would make good television.

They seem obsessed with saying "entrepreneur" and "there's a saying that goes"

I would've preferred hearing their credentials and proof of there "business skills" instead of how motivated and perfect they are.

Anyone can say they are hard working and a good salesperson. One of them even boasts about starting a company at the age of 20, despite it going bust age 21.

As with a lot of things these days, its just another case of dumbing down, the promotion of mediocraty; oh, and no doubt it makes better TV (In the producers eyes) - just like any other reality TV rubbish, only this one is based around a business theme. It hardly differs from BB, a bunch of tenacious publicity hungry 20/30 somethings, living together in a manufactured environment, set tasks for completion and then ousted one at a time........

I find it sad given that in early series there were MBA grads, entrepreneurs with real business success, a stockbroker, economist etc People from a credible business background. I mean that in no way to suggest not having such a background procludes business success, it does not, but we have gone from nearly credible to not at all.

I may watch the first one, but only to see how high the hem lines on the girls skirts are; not sure if it works on Lord Sugar though....!

When i applied for this series last July.

They did mention that they were looking for people who have been 'hit' by the recession, hence the unemployed person.

I do however recognise one of them, from my interview/s.

Be interesting to see it, as its been pushed back and pushed back from when it should have aired.
