Deborah has always been the bully of the den, I'd hate to work with her.

The "Frozen Desert" was the best and should be an insperatoion to us all that dreams can come true if you put the effort in.

The road sign lights was just embarrasing and will never get anywhere.

And Theo - why he has to break everything in site I don't know... feel sorry for his children on Christmas morning when he tests them out.

Anyway still love Dragon's Den - but why is that the quickest hour of my week :(

Oh i really liked this, that girl with the ice cream was really good, although I felt they let there feeling take over a bit here, but like they said they can do good things for them like the reggai sauce, not sure if you remember but all the nursery trade shows I go to, those guys that have the kids suitcase that also a seat are always there in all there glory and big expensive show off stand.

I am not much older than the young mother on the show and I thought she did very well. Younger people will break down more as they don't have the life experience.

I actually felt sorry for the traffic signs person. He really thought it was a good idea and he seemed a well sorted man, not the usual nutcase. He just didn't seem to get why the idea is on a one way ticket to the scrap yard.

My associate Ling has ,told em to stick there rotten money.

First of all I'm so happy to see the dragons back on TV. I absolutely love the show. Duncan and James are brilliant!

The girl selling the frozen deserts was amazing - although I can't quite see where that business idea came from, but what she has achieved is amazing.

Just wondering about Ling's pitch......was there ever any intention of taking the offer? or was it just a way of getting a 10minute ad nationwide (she did have some pretty wacky marketing ideas - so surely this simple one must have crossed her mind?

Do you know how much it would cost for a 10 minute add on TV.:|

Ling never needed the money.:)

The whole show is a set up like most reality TV.

What did everyone think of it? The girl with the icecream has done very well in my opinion. :)

Light entertainment, which i enjoy. Not to be taken that seriously.

The story of the girl with the 'ice cream' as absolutely inspirational. I agreed with Theo, i can't believe she did all that on her own, while working 2.5 jobs and having a kid to look after.

Brilliant stuff and it shows that anyone can have a good idea, apply some common sense and hard work and the results will be huge :)

Love DD, but think they should call it "Pompous Patroniser's"

As for Lings website, say no more, loving the 8 steps at the bottom of the home page.
especially
#7. Drive and show off & impress stupid friends.:)

She certainly isnt a copywriter.

Who cares how bad Ling's site looks? It no doubt makes money.

I had a crap-looking site, (not the one in my sig., which isn't much better) that earned a healthy amount with Adsense each month. Since I've had it redesigned and looking the biz, it now earns peanuts. I'm seriously thinking of going back to the crap version.

Oh I think deliberately picking people who will appear plonkers.

Makes them very similar.:)

Earl

BB is just sitting round watching people talk and ***** about people bit of a non entity really. DD at least shows people trying hard in business and coming up with ideas much more interesting. There should be more progs like this. Might inspire more people.

hardly think you can call the ice cream girl last night a plonker.

I'm not saying it's not a very successful business, but I can't see anyone openly coming out and calling that a well designed site, my eyes don't no where to look?

What's her business address? I feel like I should send he a copy of Steve Krugs book: Don't Make Me Think!

But fair play on her success, even if she did deny some genuine person looking for investment the opportunity.

:)
