Just curious, because I didn't find this with the search option... Is is allowed to bump topics if they reach the bottom of the page? Is there a minimum time period (i.e. 1 day) before you can bump your topic?

LOL Duane :D

And yes RayB, my questionnaire is for genuine studies. Believe me, I would love to elaborate on it, but I'm afraid it will influence the way people fill in the questionnaire if I give away too many details ;)

I can, however, tell you that I study International Business Communication & English at a University ^_^

And that I own a dwarf hamster :p

And I own a dwarf so we are in good company :D

It's down to forum etiquette, if the update is relevant and has a direct influence on the thread then I would say it's acceptable.

Just bumping for the sake of it or worse replying to a thread that is decades old will result in a slap round the bonce from Duanes calculator (he works with numbers and his skill as a calculator ninja is unsurpassed) ;)

This is a fair point - and as such - bumping of threads is a Very Bad Thing ;)

OMG... Bunnies and to a domestic extent Hamsters too perhaps, burrow their way while Forum Members "BUMP" when seeking recap for appreciation.:D
I believe the core and nature of the topic, being a legit need to address a desired worthy pursuit, should be allowed the exception. If it display irritation and irrelevance, it will whisk itself automatically away from support or the Moderators can take care of it with an easy removal or relocation into the archives.

Well, it is difficult to be 100% sure as there are different bumping techniques, and some are more subtle than others ;)
Hmmm I see, subtlety has never been my strong point...

Did anyone else follow that or is it just me? :p

The tiles you find in a bathroom often create a pattern, just like this thread is following the pattern of starting each thread with the last two words of the previous thread, coincidence, or is it a consipiracy with the tile manufacturers?
