An examination of UK Business Forums' most popular threads of the year in terms of posts makes for intriguing reading.
Top of the shop is the thread started by RayB calling for a special forum for green businesses. After much debate and a member poll his request was met and The Green Room was born – power to the people!
UKBF members also had their fingers on the pulse of some of the main news of the year. A debate over England's smoking ban takes second place while discussion about the jailing in Sudan of teacher Gillian Gibbons for naming a teddybear Mohammed comes in a close third.
Unsurprisingly the ever popular topic of search engine optimisation features in the top ten with chat over whether £12 an hour for SEO consultancy is too cheap taking fourth place.
Threads discussing homosexual business owners and safety on the streets claim fifth and sixth place and love it or hate it 'How I intend to make my millions' is there in seventh!
The subject of glow in the dark ceiling stars isn't an area you think would provoke much discussion but a thread on the topic was the eighth most popular in 2007 closely followed by the controversial issue of bumping posts in the ninth spot.
Finally, last place in the top ten goes to a discussion on 'Catholics, Homosexuals, Discrimination & Adoption'.
