Do Yell create websites themselves when you give them your details?

I was checking on a few customers websites in google today and was surprised to see underneath there actual website a link to something like mycustomer24.co.uk (24 is what they've added).

it gives some pretty out of date information for the customer, no images, no photos, just a homepage and about us section.

did the customer pay for that? or have yell just created it themselves to be annoying?

According to their website it could be either, but I think the customer has to upgrade to a paid listing to get the website as well as the standard listing.

It's an added value service. I wouldn't bother as the designs are often poor, and they are not cheap for what you get. A basic hosting package an a professional design would be better.
