Wire transfers - SWIFT Code?

I have got an international client who is going to wire me their payment and they need a SWIFT code - apparently it's also known as an ABE routing code.

I've checked my business bank statements and found an IBAN code and a BIC code - are either of these the SWIFT code?

Hi Lynn,

What bank are you with? I think each bank has one code which you might be able to find out from your branch/online. I googled the words and it brought up these two:

So it must be readily available I guess!

Phone your bank, they will give you your Swift code.

Phoning my bank (Abbey) was my next option but I know people on here are so knowlegeable and I thought I'd try and save the phone call - it worked :wink:!
