hi,everyone. recently. im too busy to log in this forum. how are you ? hope you here in this forum are good. :)

im so confused. and dont know why. i have displayed a lot of products on the alibaba., and im so happy that everyday i will get the inquiry mail ....
i promised that each mail did get my high attention, i resend my reply sincerely.

Unfortunately, i never get their reply again after i send the quote :(:(
and i always trace them, will send mail to them again in few days. and the last result is that i get nothing , no anyone get me any reply, and also i still dont know why ? why i lost the chance taking service for them, lost the chance to establish business relationship with them.

i know that it is impossbile that they will place order from me as long as they send inquiry to me. but .. i just hope that they will tell me why i lost the opportunity? our products are not soooo good? our price is not competitive?

im so sad .. .. i do want know where is wrong ? so i can try my best to make it up , and try my best to meet what my customer really need!!
but.. i still want to say ths to these kind ppl ,because they did give me a chance to show my products and build my self-confidence.

everyone here? would you give me a advice? why i cant catch the opportunity , make the inquiry into the order???!! thank you very much , any advice is high greatful for me ...

That's life I'm afraid- happens to me too, and yes it is annoying. Keep at it though, and I am sure you will get there in the end!

One thing I do is send a differently worded e-mail out to each person. The one I get a reply to, I then use again in future, but adjust the wording slightly again, and so on. I found this really helped.

Assuming you are replying in English, you also want to make sure your e-mail is very well written.

I had a quick look at your site, and you look like all the other companies, nothing so terrible in that but nothing exceptional either.

I would recommend you try to think as your potential clients might think, what are their concerns and requirements? A major worry with dealing with a foreign company is the trust issue, will they get their goods, payment terms etc. You have a few good options, but you have too look for them, you could feature them much more prominently.

Another worry is over poor quality or faulty goods, what do you offer for faulty products etc? Lastly your images are very small and not particularly good.

As suggested, do not be afraid to ask your potential clients for feedback. You could learn something very important.

thank you very much for your advice. i know it is a big problem how to make my potential clients trust us .

and i do think the price and the quality also and the security are very important things for any kinds of customer.

we displayed our products on alibaba, so we cant get the payment directly until my customers accept the items. so they dont need to worry that we wont send item , we are fraud.

we are business man, so we must earn some profit, i will appreciate that they will discuss the price with me, i will try my best to deal with it, because you know, earn little is better than get nothing.

the quality of our products, i can promise that our products are high quality, and i do think every supplier all say it like me . it always make our customers confused, becasue they did not see the real item before they pay it and then receive it. so... it does not work how i said.

one thing can make it ... they can place an small order to test the quality, or ask the samle.

i do know what should i do if i know what they think , need? but without any reply .. i do dont know what , how should i do is right, correct!!

In the UK alibaba is seen as a very risky market, full of many scammers and companies who do not send what is ordered. Personally I prefer to use Global Sources.

You mention you have quality products, and you appreciate all suppliers mention this, but do you replace faulty items without the need for a further order etc? This is a major problem to overcome for chinese companies IMO, many offer to send replacements on the next order, but if an importer has received poor quality goods on one order, who is to say they will wish to place another order?

As you mention, a small trial order is adviseable, but it is not unknown to be sent good quality goods on a trial order and then lower different quality goods on a larger order.

I am not having a go at yourself, just trying to explain the concerns of many smaller traders who would like too import, personally I have never had any major problems, but various forums have many horror stories on lost money and sub standard quality goods. It takes time to build a good relationship with a supplier, and you also have to accept many of your inquiries will be from people who never intend to import but would like to see what the prices are.
