Just wondering if anyone has any pointers as to the type of person/body i could talk to for advice, on setting up something along the lines of a franchise or licence agreement?

I know there are plenty of sites online to get info, but as i want to try and create something similar to franchises/licences & not the same as, i dont think this will have the info, plus i'd much rather chat/email someone to try and thrash out my ideas!

If anyone on here is experienced in this area then please do PM me!

Thanks, Mark

Hi Mark

you probably want to take a look at the British Franchise Association as they have quite strict criteria for being able to register: www.thebfa.org/ So you might want to check you are eligible and if not work towards those goals.

I know there are companies out there who will help with intellectual property and preparing for franchise but I only know one person who has used one of these and the franchise launched and then sank without trace, so I'm not convinced it gives you any edge rather than reading up yourself!

hope that helps!
