Where do peoplelook for business services

The first stop for me was yellow pages. I still find it faster than using the Internet for sourcing contact details. I use Internet for getting deeper background on the companies and making decisions about contacting them, but the tradional, quick, truely interactive yellow pages is always a great place to start.

One place you can get listed is www.the-find-engine.com (PR3)this will then list you and your company with the advert you choose on to find-4u.com find-local.com (PR3) ufind4me.com and the exact page listing for your product or service on find-4u.com such as holiday.find-4u.com
The term PR3 relates to the page ranking given by google this goes from 0 to 10 most pages on the internet are 0 and the ranking of 3 means this page is given more relevance by google and other search engines as being important to people searching for that item so has a higher page possition ans therefore more visitors.

Best wishes

I would also try building relationships with other small businesses who work with clients who may be looking for PR. For example, business coaches, web developers, graphic designers - clients using these services may be trying to raise their profile - and may appreciate the services of a specialist PR person. You could offer recommendations in return.

Also try enterprise agencies - as start ups might be looking for PR advice on launching a business. Maybe you could offer to run a workshop for your local enterprise agency - this may then bring you longer term clients.
