As we've said all along, moving to the new platform wasn't the only end-goal. UKBF is an on-going project that we want to continue to improve as time goes on. Getting the basic site across was Phase 1.
Over the next few weeks we have pieces to clean up and roll out, such as the Directory and Members List (more on that in the welcome thread) as well as tweaks based on your feedback.
After that, we'll be rolling out Phase 2, geared towards the content on the site. We'll be adding a new section to the site, focusing on longer-form content, with articles from our own editorial team as well as contributors from across different sectors, including UKBF members. UKBF is built on the wealth of knowledge and experience that our members bring to the site each day and we want to make sure that the best content is also the easiest to find. We also want to use this to be able to showcase what you have to say on a platform that's already highly visible online so that it's as rewarding for you as it can be.
Phase 2 is currently planned to go live in the first quarter of 2014, with previews happening before then.
Beyond that, we want to continue to build on what we've got here. Suggestions are always welcome and, thanks to the flexibility of the new forum platform, we're in a much better position to try out ideas as they come up
