Website Update

Mathew,

Here is my suggested version of text for your home page, with errors corrected. I made some assumptions about how your service works, so you may need to revisit what I have written. I took out the paragraph about "no flashing pictures" because it distracts from your message.

Are you focusing equally on international moves and on international investing? They are two very different topics. If it was me, I'd concentrate on the moving aspects of your business at this site. Maybe you could create a sister site that addresses the investment side of your business.

I hope this helps.

The website is easy to navigate, which is a plus, and I think you have put the Sitepal function to very good use (which I know Tony is pleased about!)

The only downside is there doesn't appear to be any information. Almost every link appears to ask me to submit a load of personal information for you to contact me back.

If I were looking to move abroad people using the internet want information, and want it now, I fear they may look elsewhere. Maybe give them some information to 'wet the taste buds' then ask for their email address so you can contact them further.

I would also consider changing the 'Need Help Moving Abroad.com' title from dark blue to something a little lighter and easier on the eye.

Hope this helps,
Dean

Agree with the above.

No problem with site design ...but

I am always suspicious when the contact page on a website shows only email ids - and even more suspicious when those ids ate contact@ or info@ or sales@ without a real human name behind it.

Moving abroad is a rare and huge investment in anybodies life, I need to completely trust any agents I use so I would need to see at least a;

Contact address
Contact telephone number ( not a mobile )
Name of a person to contact. ie 'My names Tom Dick - call me on 272727
to discuss your requirements" etc.

Without this I would be suspect that the company is trying to hide something - and guess ( probally correctly ) that this is run out of somebodies living room and everything is virtual ( including the 'team' of employees ). I would then swiftly move on. I certainly would not give any personal details, even my name, to an anonymous catch-all email id.

I don't think I've seen a site before which every page just links to a form! I'd say just one form (with a range of options selected by passing a parameter to indicate the form type) and get some content on there.

Also, some form have very strict validation requirments (I've not tested) but the feedback form I can enter without entering anything!
