Viruse Help

Reboot the PC and keep pressing F8 until you reach SAFE MODE. Choose to boot the PC with the minimum drivers etc (Option 1 on windows XP) and then re-run the AV scan. Norton should then be able to delete the files

Whereabouts is it reporting the virus has been found? If it's in the system restore area, that's quite a different matter. Your virus checker will probably have a detailed description of what to do, but consider disabling the system restore function in Windows before running a scan. (Suggest you make sure you have a good backup of your data before playing too much though.)

Hi there

What viruses has norton found, Its not morphine bloodhound by any chance is it?
If so then this is not a virus, Norton thinks it is and therefore highlights it

There are some exe's that norton just seems to pick on for some reason :)
