Just wondering what people do here when it comes to advertising and measuring responses?
When publishing an advert (magazine, landing page etc) do you use a different phone number to measure responses? If so how what technology do you use to do this?
I'll be watching this thread carefully as we provide 08 and local presence call tracking numbers. Our clients use them on marketing material as a call to action and they get logged into a reporting system to show the client how many calls their campaign has generated. It's a great way to save money on marketing as you can clearly see what is working for you and what isn't.
The Mediamonitor solution seems like a good one. Does anyone have any experience of this? If you don't use something like this how else do you manage your inbound calls from advertising?
