Using credit card for purchases

I'm new to all this . I've had my business now for 5 months and now I'm getting busy but cash flow isn't coming in straight away. I need to buy equipment to do some jobs but no cash flow.

My question is. If I use my mother's credit card to buy my items and pay it back when cheques clear can I put this down in my account books if so how do I put it down for accountant.
Because payment will be from mother and products in my company name .
I can get myself a credit card but haven't had time plus Al these jobs have come in at once and are required to be done next week.

Do what you gotta do, just don't cock it up. Just tell the accountant, let them sort it out.

Yes it can be done - how its accounted for depends on whether you are a sole trader or trade via a limited company hence Kevins question.
