Am I correct in thinking that when I have made 15 posts i will be allowed to update my profile? It won't allow me to at the moment.


Just out of interest can someone tell me the idea behind this? Is it an anti spam measure. if so do you not find people making non usefull posts in order to access their accounts? Just a thought

It is an antispam measure, and you have only made 7 posts (look next to your join date above), and you need to be a member for 20 days also.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was aware that I hadn't made enough posts (I only joined this evening).No criticism of the requirements was intended. I just wanted to know what the requirements where. It's also always interesting to see how forums are moderated to see if the same principles can be used on your own sites
